Introduction

The richness of American history and culture can be viewed not only in connection with the depth of the language history but also in the broadness of its geographic and ethnic history.
The topic of this research is to consider first settlements in the United States of America.
The subject of the research is the history of the United States of America during the period of the first settlements.
The aim of this study is the review the first settlements in the territory of America.
In order to reach this aim, we need to attain a number of specific goals:
- enlighten the USA: historical, geographical, language and cultural aspects;
- study the history of the first settlements in America;
-layout the assignments in order to enlighten the history of the first settlements in America.
The theoretical base of research embraces studies of the following scholars: Allan Greer; David M. Kennedy and Lizabeth Cohen; David J. Weber, Dean Jobb; Ehlers, J., and P.L. Gibbard; Crystal D.; Eric Hinderaker and Rebecca Horn; James A. Henretta, Rebecca Edwards and Robert O. Self; James Davie Butler; John Mack Faragher; Mark, Rossi Franca, Ceriani Regina; Melvyn Stokes; Mintz, Steven, Tougias, Michael and others.
The research is based on the interdisciplinary approach with regard the materials of the History and Linguistics.
Theoretical value of the study is determined by the insufficiency of the interest the academic coverage and lack of history research in the area, despite the topicality of the issue. Practical value of the research lies in the possible usage of its results in the preparation of the learning materials, of the courses of American English language, American history and other related disciplines.
Novelty of the study consists in the interdisciplinary approach to the issue in question.
